Some recent sidewalk chalk projects. Yep that is the artwork by JJR Tolkien that appears on the cover of The Hobbit. The other is the Shivan Dragon by Melissa Benson that appears on the first version of the Magic The Gathering card of the same name. While I ran ran out of green it still looks cool with the purple.
