Grilled Cheese of the Day - Page 12

Coyote sighting!  Finally got another visit from the neighborhood coyote.  The buck's antlers are coming along.  He and the coyote were in the yard togethor at the same time.  If you look at the timing the deer left right when the coyote showed up.  I suppose the coyote scared the deer off.  Also, the next night, a raccoon wandered past the wildlife camera.  And lastly, me, with Croissant at my side coming out to change the SD card.

My wildlife camera caught lots of deer and a fox.  These does look super healthy.  The fox looks like the same gray fox we've seen before making the rounds.  But who know?

The wildlife camera captured a family of raccoons wander past in the middle of a stormy night.

The wildlife camera captured the same deer family that've been visiting for weeks.  Captured Croissant 🐈 on her nighttime patrol.  And, a nice capture of a turkey wandering through during a hot afternoon.  I really like the one of the turkey because there is a little black bird in the same shot completely unconcerned of the giant bird walking up from behind.

The flowers really popped over the past few days.  I was out enjoying a glass of red with a nice breeze before a storm with Croissant🐈 by my side.

The wildlife camera saw quite the variety yesterday.  A deer, a skunk, and two turkeys all made an appearance.  Even with the field next door getting cut and hay'd by Farmer Jeff there is still plenty of activity although I wish there were more coyotes and foxes.

Wildlife camera latest.  The fox stopped by for a mouse morsel.  Although it doesn't look like he much cared for it.  The deer hung around as usual.

The wildlife camera had a quite eventful couple of nights.  Finally caught the gray fox in the daylight (early evening).  Beautiful.  The coyote came around looking for a treat.  There was none to be had.  The last mouse Croissant caught, I think she ate it because I have not found any remnants of it.  Also, the deer made many appearances.  I only uploaded some snapshots from all the deer videos.

I threw a dead mouse out in front of the Wildlife camera in the hopes that it would draw in a predator or scavenger.  It did!  Two coyotes came around and the first scarfed it up immediately.  Funny story about that particular mouse.  Croissant had brought it in alive to play with and LOST IT, INSIDE, for a day and half before she finally caught it again and killed it.

Uh, there's more than one young male deer hanging around.  These two boys were frolicking in the yard last night.  Could they be brothers?  Also, Croissant joined me today to go retrieve the disk from the wildlife camera.
