Grilled Cheese of the Day - Page 13

I threw a dead mouse out in front of the Wildlife camera in the hopes that it would draw in a predator or scavenger.  It did!  Two coyotes came around and the first scarfed it up immediately.  Funny story about that particular mouse.  Croissant had brought it in alive to play with and LOST IT, INSIDE, for a day and half before she finally caught it again and killed it.

Uh, there's more than one young male deer hanging around.  These two boys were frolicking in the yard last night.  Could they be brothers?  Also, Croissant joined me today to go retrieve the disk from the wildlife camera.

Here's the latest from the wildlife camera.  Our young buck, we'll call him Bucky, was back.  He didn't bring Dad this time.  Also, a skunk, this is a first for the wildlife camera.

The wildlife camera captured more deer.  This time a large buck showed up.  I like to think he is the father of the young male deer in my earlier posts.  The same young male deer, I think, shows up in the second video trying to get dad to play.  I think they are coming around to see if the apple trees are putting out yet.

My Buck Fawn or Button Buck, whatever you want to call him is no longer that.  He is growing full fledge antlers now.  Hopefully, he'll stick around a while.  The wildlife camera caught Croissant carrying her bird back to show us all how good of a hunter she is.  She tortured that poor thing until dusk... Also, a good picture of Croissant by her living room scratching post.

The wildlife camera saw a couple deer and a raccoon.  Just not much going on these summer days and nights.  I believe it's the same deer we've seen before.  A female and a male who only a couple weeks ago was a Button Buck or Buck Fawn.  His antlers look to be about an 1 and 1/2 inches long now.  Who know's if it's the same raccoon. I repositioned it so it would not get triggered so much by wind.  Today I put a mouse that Croissant killed in front of it to maybe attract some attention from some predators or scavengers.

Call it a midlife crisis or just plain stupidity.  I've started skateboarding again.  I am but a shadow of my former skateboarder self.  Watch the video to see me eat shit and maybe skate a little.
